INTERMOVE for Trainers: Extending the INTERMOVE model

Following the success of INTERMOVE project, partners were determined to continue working on the further development of the results obtained so far and, with this purpose, we are glad to present INTERMOVE for Trainers project.

INTERMOVE for Trainers aims to extend and transfer the INTERMOVE model to other partner organizations active in mobility programs in Italy, Portugal, France, Ireland and Spain, developing an innovative specialized training program for trainers that will not only allow partner organizations to train their mobility participants (before departure and/or upon arrival), but will train other third-party organizations in the INTERMOVE model and will award them with the INTERMOVE Label certification.

Coordinated by INCOMA, this new project gathers together 11 partners from 5 different countries, combining the former partners of INTERMOVE project (INCOMA, UCP, IFOA, Cap Ulysse and ITT) with 6 new institutions (La Salle, Fundación Dolores Sopeña, IPV, ENAIP, Association Odysee and University of Limerick) working in the fields of training and mobilities.

Kick-off Meeting in Reggio Emilia

In February we celebrated the kick-off meeting our new project, INTERMOVE for Trainers. This first meeting was held in Reggio Emilia, Italy, and was hosted by one of our Italian partners, IFOA.

For two days, several sessions were scheduled to deal with upcoming tasks, organise the work plan that partners will follow and set the main guidelines to start with the implementation of the project. The event was also an opportunity for all partners to meet and enjoy some time together.

Design and development of INTERMOVE for Trainers’ training programme

During the first part of the project’s implementation, partners are working in the development of the contents that will be part of the training programme they will deliver to new partners and, at a later stage, to other educational and mobility institutions.

Taking as a reference the learning pathway of the previous project, former partners of INTERMOVE are further developing them by adding new activities and tools and including contents referred to methodological and didactic approach.

The training will be structured in three different modules that will focus on Intercomprehension and Interculturality and also in the general aspects related to INTERMOVE model, trainers’ role and tools to deliver the sessions.
